Handle Material
Shou Sugi Ban is an ancient Japanese technique that involves burning one side of a solid wood plank which will then be used as construction timber for houses. This technique allows the wood to withstand bad weather and has excellent resistance to time.
Blackwood Nakatado
The wood is burned by master burners and then brushed to reveal a lively ribbed structure. Nakatado is perfectly weather-resistant thanks to the thermal
modification of wood: a process that uses a temperature of 230° C without the use of chemicals. This type of wood, therefore, belongs to the durability class 1 (EN350). This wood has a lifespan of at least 30 years in outdoor use.
Metal construction: 12C27 Sandvik stainless steel and cold-forged solid brass.
